If you've never used Restaurant.com, let me tell you about it. It's a great way to get discounts on food at local restaurants. I use Restaurant.com all the time to go to this outstanding local restaurant we have called Captain Pat's. Some people make fun of it because they have some really chintzy sea-faring decorations such as seashells, nets, sand, and even a ship's wheel! It sort of reminds me of that seafood restaurant in The Simpsons called The Frying Dutchman. Yes, they fry a lot of stuff. But it's GOOD! They've had HVAC issues in the past, but that's never stopped us from eating there. Nevertheless, these issues will never take away from the AWESOME southern Maryland seafood experience that you can get from Captain Pat's. It's usually packed on weekends despite the lack of sophisticated ambience.

Every time anyone visits us from out of town, we must take them to Captain Pat's. Every July 4th, we order a bushel of crabs from Captain Pat's. I really can't say what dishes are the best because I've never had a bad meal at Captain Pat's. A highlight is definitely the Cream of Crab soup.
