We’ve had satellite tv for years. So imagine my surprise when one day I discovered music channels on my Direct TV Mechanicsville. I work from home and enjoy having background noise so the house isn’t so quiet. However, I’ve found that if I have the television on and something catches my interest I get distracted easily. The music channels are the perfect answer! There are so many stations with all types of music to choose from depending on my mood. On the days when I’m tired and moving a little slow I like to listen to the dance channel. With fast beats and happy sounds I find myself more productive and able to get through the slow mornings. When I have a conference call or am working on something that requires a lot of concentration, there are several channels that play great background music like classical or new age. And when my kids get home from school and they are doing homework and I’m cooking dinner, I can switch to the kids music channels for music that’s appropriate for them but doesn’t get on my nerves. What an excellent find!
