World Vision Gift Catalog - Give a gift and a giveaway too!

What is the World Vision Gift Catalog? It is a way for you to choose a gift, and impact the lives of others. If you are seeking a unique gift this holiday season, consider an alternative gift such as a donation through the World Vision Gift Catalog. You have the power to determine what is done with your monetary donation. When you donate, a gift is given to someone in desperate need. Most of the gifts are sustainable livestock such as  goats, sheep, cows and pigs. Gifts are mostly donated to families in Africa and Asia, but you can also choose to donate to families in the United States.

The World Vision Gift Catalog is so great! Where else can you donate a beehive or water well from halfway across the world? You could even help build an entire medical clinic for less than the cost of a luxury SUV! But don't get too overwhelmed with all of the gift options... A minimum donation of just $16 can feed a family for a day, or buy 2 soccer balls for children in Africa.

The World Vision Gift Catalog provides so many options to choose for your donation. If you are not sure what you'd like to donate, you can make a monetary donation to the Maximum Impact Fund, and World Vision will provide you with a small gift as a token of appreciation. I received Gertie the plush goat in exchange for promoting awareness of World Vision's great efforts. You can receive Gertie the plush goat for a $25 donation to the Maximum Impact Fund.

To see the impact that World Vision is having through its self-sustainable gifts "Like" "The True Spirit of Christmas" Facebook page or you can follow them on Twitter @WorldVisionUSA.
